We had a terrific day trip up to Teewah national park recently. As the photos show the flight along the coast at 500 feet was great fun. Just wish I could have set down on the beach and had a swim !! The round trip for the Karatoo was just on four hours. Lots of different scenery for this boy from the bush !! Where to next time guys and girls ??

News Break :
Santa makes a surprise visit to "Raysfield" !! Ho ! Ho ! Ho !
Following an impromptu interview with the jolly white bearded old gent ( although somewhat slimmer than stories have led me to believe) it has been revealed that the more traditional reindeer and sleigh have been passed in for a somewhat higher performance RV - 6 called Harvey !! Seems the long hot distances encountered on the Australian run have been a bit to much for Rudolph and Co. Hence the upgrade !!
Anyhow after delivering a bundle of goodies and receiving a big kiss from Dianne. ( Perks of the job !! ) Santa was off again . So with a laugh and a smile he bid us goodnight !!
I always did believe in Santa .

The summer rains have been a blessing here at "Raysfield" with the sorghum and sunflower crops flourishing. Things should be looking great for Christmas. After all the planting and establishment work I am one very happy chappy !!

We had an interesting morning at the Lockyer Valley Aero Club Christmas get together recently. A good variety of aircraft in attendance and a friendly greeting made for a great visit !! Ross and I had to make a dash for home due to impending summer storms. Turned out to be the right decision with a good fall at "Raysfield".
