News Flash !!
Aviators and friends took the opportunity to fly or drive to the Great Sunflower Fun - Fly held at "Raysfield" this morning. What a great day!! These small get togethers are a wonderful way for sport aviators and those interested to meet and have some fun. A special thank you to all that attended. Dianne and I hope you all had a safe trip home. Y`all come back soon now.

I had to call in the professionals for some maintenance the other day.
So who ya gonna call ?? .........Why the Dodgey Brothers of coarse !!

The Warwick aviators breakfast held yesterday morning was a great success !!
The air on the morning flight was just glorious . A little fog hanging in the valleys. Smooth as glass. You get the picture ?
Lots of fun !!

Andy arrived the other morning with his fantastic little Tyro.
What a terrific machine for pure fun flying. I would love one of these as well !!

I took the Karatoo across to the Watts Bridge "festival of flight" recently.
What a great day !! Some truly wonderful examples of what these dedicated people can achieve.

We took in a wonderful morning at the David Hack Classic meet held at Toowoomba today.

Some really exotic machinery and beautifully restored aircraft. Who could ask for more !!

The little Karatoo and I have just returned from Narromine Nat-Fly 2008 .

What a great adventure !! As the photos show some good days and some not so good !!

Ah well , at least I didn`t have to pay a premium for my waterfront tent site !!

Total flight time for the trip : 10 hrs .

We had seven aircraft head off on a short safari to Cherrabah Resort today.

It is great fun to fly with this group . Not having enough at the first stop a number of the group dropped in at "Raysfield" for a second morning tea !!

Bevan arrived recently at "Raysfield" with his new Rans. A lovely aircraft and one that he would be truly proud of . Great workmanship and performance to match !!

The first big gathering of the year was held at Clifton recently.

A great day with lots of friends to catch up with !!

The interest in recreational flying here in the south-east corner is certainly growing.

It is great to see so many attend events such as this !!

It was great to have Andy and his wife Debra drop in for a coffee. We then took both the Cub and Karatoo for a flight over the Lockyer Valley. All great fun !! Hope you call in again soon !!

Funny ?? All a bloke has to do is crack open a really sweet watermelon and look who shows up !! Always a pleasure to have these guys call in at "Raysfield".

We had a wonderful week at Maroochydore recently. Great to be able to share some time with good friends . Even if he caught the best waves !!
